Edgar Zuņiga is a native sculptor from Alajuela who's artwork are largely distributed all around Costa Rica. Michaelangelo and Rodin was the first inspiration behind the artistic hands of Edgar Zuņiga, but his mentor and teacher was his father, Manuel Maria Zuņiga who have a religious imagery workshop in Alajuela.
Zuņiga had attended art school at the University of Costa Rica only for three months, and then leave because he thought that that learning process there is too slow.
He is mostly self-thought, learning from books, exhibit, museums and trips.
